Get to Know Me
I work specifically with adults and those needing support with re-entry into society from incarceration. I trust you are the expert on your experiences; therefore, I will listen to your story and how it feels for you with an open mind. I also understand there are beliefs tied to an individual's identity; I ensure to understand your intersectionality and thought patterns to provide you with the best therapeutic care and guidance. Along the way, I will encourage you to build your strengths and awareness. Therapy is a collaboration which means you have autonomy in constructing your therapeutic goals and plan.

I have had extensive experience working at community-based mental health clinics, counseling a diverse group of individuals, couples, families, and children. I have also had the unique opportunity to work in residential and outpatient programs with both adolescents and adults. I believe you have autonomy in your therapeutic journey; therefore, I utilize the Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) tool to ensure the implementation of what works best for you based on your constructive feedback. This tool also allows a record of progress or regress in separate categories in your life.
